This piece has been painted based on my own sensation on January 1st 2022 when I climbed Mount Futaba to watch the first sunrise of the year, where the sensation was linked by the intermediary of “Sun” to the people who gathered there and to the earth.
As a title I chose “Morning era” after perceiving the period with wars as “Night era” and by wishing the advent of an era without war.
When we look at the world situation now, it would be hard to say that our future is necessarily advancing in a positive direction.
And I recognize that the flash point of war exists even in the mind of everyone and it is harbored also in my own mind.
And this is why I thought that it was important to “declare” the peaceful future.
Isn’t it possible to put a stop to the current march to ruination through efforts in which everyone stands up and says something in a proactive manner?
I wholeheartedly pray that in the future a day will come where all people in the world will be able to enjoy equally the sunlight.
